Google search Image Gets Smarter and Faster

We have used a lot google search by image,to collect the information related to a specific image. We have used the search bar to search image or uploaded an image to get the information of specific image.I wondered how does it work? here is it about image search

Google uses computer vision techniques to match your image to other images in the Google Images index and additional image collections. From those matches, we try to generate an accurate “best guess” text description of your image, as well as find other images that have the same content as your search image. Your search results page can show results for that text description as well as related images.

Among these things Google improved its search by image on Google image search

Smart search

Now if you search by image, Google will try to be smarter about the best guess answer they give you. For example, if you uploaded an image of a specific type of fruit, previously Google would say it was fruit. Now Google will try to guess the type of fruit.

Knowledge Graph

Also, when you search by image, if Google has a knowledge graph result available for the image, Google will show it. For example, uploading a picture of Neuschwanstein Castle may return the knowledge graph answer for it.

Google Search Plus Your World

Google Search our friend,I think we never    miss it a single day also.Google    search always brought information from accross the web with right results.Google says the search is still limited because people cant find your own stuff on the web, the people you know and things they’ve shared with you, as well as the people you don’t know but might want to… all from one search box. Now, search gets better by including photos, posts, and more from you and your friends. When signed in with Google+, you’ll find personal results and profiles of people you know or follow. You can even expand your world by discovering people related to your search.

Google have introduced three new feature in this

  1. Personal Results- which enable you to find information just for you, such as Google+ photos and posts—both your own and those shared specifically with you, that only you will be able to see on your results page;
  2. Profiles in Search- both in autocomplete and results, which enable you to immediately find people you’re close to or might be interested in following; and,
  3. People and Pages-which help you find people profiles and Google+ pages related to a specific topic or area of interest, and enable you to follow them with just a few clicks. Because behind most every query is a community.

Verification badges for celebs in Facebook and Google plus

I just typed celebs name in Facebook and Google plus, there were nearly 15-20 accounts of each celebs.I really got confused for a moment are these real account? Does celebs have an account? who is the real one?.When I went into there account they were having thousands of friends and all considers it as a real account and get fooled easily.

Thanks facebook and Googleplus for bringing verification badges for celebs. It made us to identify the real and the fake.

 Facebook

The Verification badges for celebs in Facebbok looks like this

In Google Plus

A badge is somewhat like a certification made on a particular user’s profile. It takes the form of a dark grey checkmark on top of a lighter gray circle. When a mouse hovers over the mark, it changes form to include the phrase ‘Verified name’. It is located next to a user’s name that has been verified accordingly by Google+.

It has been said that by this it will be easy to judge the real account. As of its implementation, the badge is only viable to celebrities, actors, public figures, politicians, and users who have been added by a myriad of users to their circles.

So friends dont get fooled by sending the request to fake account.Look at the badge and confirm the things.

Google vs Facebook

The rivalry came to life when Google launched its fancy social network, G+. While many believed that Facebook was on its way out, Zuckerberg’s pride and joy would not be defeated. Turns out Google is better at something: keeping your privacy. Veracode’s new infographic by NowSourcing shows just how secure you’re not on everyone’s beloved Facebook.

Is Google+ a Social Network+

EveryOne call Google+ a “Social Network”,except Google.By not labeling Google+ as a “social network,” Google has a point. Google+ is no more a social network than it is any number of other online communications media. Google+ is also an email service, blogging platform, micro-blogging site, news feed, video conferencing system, chat service, location-based social network and more. So why call it a “social network”?

Many have made mistake of thinking of Google+ a right competitor with FB,but it’s absolutely not — at least not as far as Google is concerned.Of course, Google is still in the business of competing with Facebook for ad dollars.

Horowitz Says” Google+ is simply a new way of accessing Google’s web search. And Gmail. And Google Maps.We think of Google+ as a mode of usage of Google. It is a way of lighting up your Google experience as opposed to a new product. It’s something that takes time to appreciate, even internally. It’s easy to think of Google+ as something other than just Google, and I think it’ll take more launches before the world catches up with this understanding.”

Here are the list of services that Google+ can replace

1.Social Network

Google+ is great replacement of FB.I say it as better than FB.

2.Email

Google+ is the first email replacement I’ve ever seen that’s actually better than email.

3.Blogging

Google+ can be used for blogging. Many blogs have been created so far from Google+. I would even rank Google+ as the second best blogging platform after Tumblr. The only thing it lacks is themes and customization, custom URLs and advertising. For the majority of bloggers who don’t need these, Google+ is the best blogging platform out there – better even than Tumblr.

4.Post

you can use Google+ exactly like Twitter.Post short “tweets,” reference people with the @ symbol, link to pages on the Web, follow people, make yourself available for following -everything.

I call it as better than Twitter, there is no character limit like in Twitter 140 charecters, you can add pictures and videos.

5.Video Conference

Google+ is best for video conference.Google+’s “Hangouts” is free, and supports both group viewing of videos and up to 10 simultaneous users.

6.Chatting

Google+ has the same feature as Gmail. You can people and chat with them.Google Chat enables you to chat with anyone who has a Google username and password. It also supports AIM, so you can chat with anyone with an AIM account. You can chat from your Android phone as a superior replacement for SMS and MMS texting.

7.Pages

Google+ alows you to create pages for allow brands, products, companies, businesses, places, groups, and everyone else to establish a presence on the service.
